As one of the most ambitious luxury developments in Athens, The Ilisian is setting the tone for a new era of hospitality in the Greek capital.  


The former Hilton hotel, an icon of the city, is being transformed into a multi-faceted landmark, combining luxury hotels with a private members’ club, dining and retail spaces. While the ambitious project is underway, The Ilsian needed to start ranking online for keywords associated with its expansive offering and wanted to develop its website copy so that it would be ready for the project’s launch.


They approached Peregryn to work with our team of SEO strategists and luxury travel copywriters, looking for travel SEO services that could help them build their profile online. 


We’ve completed the first of a multi-stage project, which began with mapping out a strategic keyword strategy, then involved crafting copy for the existing website. Supported by SEO for hospitality, we took the opportunity to investigate the target audience and how they search for related services, then used crafted copy to highlight the multiple experiences The Ilisian will offer.


It was a case of combining SEO with brand storytelling, communicating key messages about the development to gain both consumer and local buy-in. The goal was to show Athenians the potential of this project while offering a teaser to potential visitors about what to expect.


The Ilisian content is now live and beginning to rank online, ready for the second phase of the website, which is underway and will coincide with the project launch.
