When leading Dubai luxury hotel brand One&Only was opening its latest resort in Greece, on the little-known Kéa Island, it approached the Peregryn team about our copywriting for hotels service. We worked together on creating hotel content ideas across the hotel’s social media channels and for landing pages for its website, as well as crafting in-resort communications, including brochures, welcome packs, VIP gift cars and more.
One&Only’s hotel brand identity was already a very defined voice, carefully crafted to appeal to their upmarket customers. These are people who are looking for an ultra-luxury experience and excellent service; yet with a relaxed ambience. So our messaging needed to strike a careful balance.
Our challenge was to ensure their unique brand voice was upheld across all communications, while telling the original story of Kéa Island in an inspiring way to showcase the new resort in its location.
We emphasised the history, landscape, and ancient culture of the island, with creative copy designed to show how One&Only was perfectly located to blend seamlessly into the beautiful surroundings. We focused on how it was sensitively constructed with natural materials and respectful of the culinary and other traditions of the island.
As well as offering support ahead of the launch, we also work with One&Only Kéa Island on an ongoing ad-hoc basis as an extension to their core team, providing creative copywriting for their hotels’ social media, in-resort communications and strategic brand expertise as necessary.
